“Plum Tree in Bloom” by Charles N. Pruitt (American, b. 1941) captures a fleeting spring scene—a plum tree bursting with pink blossoms stands just behind a low stucco wall. Snowcapped mountains stretch across the horizon, framing a narrow band of soft blue sky and scattered white clouds. This oil on panel work, dated c. 1989, is signed lower right and again on the verso with title and date. Framed in a linen-covered liner with a 3” goldtone panel molding
